In Loving Memory of Robbie Lee Hernandez
Nov. 3rd, 1967 - Sept.13th, 2018

On Thursday September 13th, 2018 Robbie Lee Hernandez passed away in Santa Cruz, CA. Robbie was born in San Jose, CA and graduated from Westmont High School. He lived and loved to travel, living at various times in Campbell, CA, Los Gatos CA, Hollywood CA, Suisun, CA, Whitefish, MT, Santa Cruz, CA, San Diego, CA, Costa Rica, and on Oahu, HI. An avid adventurer, music lover, story teller, and crossword puzzle fan, "Slop" or "Party Man" enjoyed anything that stimulated him mentally or challenged him creatively. Slop lived in the now in the most funny, refreshing, carefree and captivating way; being in his presence was vivifying and life affirming, and he had a way to make every moment fun. His heart overflowed with happiness and love for his family and friends; he was as hilarious as he was supportive and present, which made him the most charismatic person. His laser like ability to focus allowed him to excel as a talented snowboarder, surfer, golfer, musician, artist, photographer, motorcyclist, fisherman, gardener, carpenter, and as a loyal and loving friend. He also enjoyed playing pool, being in the hot tub (I'll be in my office!) hosting BBQs, collecting coolers, and thinking of jokes, ribs, and wisecracks to make his family and friends laugh.

Robbie is survived by his wife Lindy Upton Hernandez. He is also survived by his proud and loving parents Karen St. John and Carlos Hernandez, Stepmother Susie Hernandez and preceded in death by his Stepfather Lawrence St. John. Also survived by his loving grandmother Angie Hernandez; by his brothers and sisters Carlos (Denise) Hernandez, LJ (Katreis) St, John, Elena (Jason) Bessette, Rosa Hernandez and Brandi St. John. Robbie will be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins, extended family, and his friends whom he adored all over the world. His vitality and exuberance will be so greatly missed.
